Here's a basic idea of all the magic that can happen on Cooop.

How You can use Cooop

Here you can ask questions about things around your neighbourhood, assistance you may need with something, advise, suggestions on places around, reviews on things around, feedback on things, ideas, food etc.

Loads of people around are already asking questions, sharing things, putting up reviews, updating locations of things around you. Sometimes just searching the neighbourhood helps. Maybe someone is serving home baked goodies or meals, selling old clothes, helping out street and wild animals and more.

Made some extra food or just got back from a holiday and realised you bought two of the same thing and want to get rid of one to even just ideas of what you can do to help clean up your neighbourhood or a new painting you completed today – share, collaborate, interact with neighbours around you.

The neighbourhood is your playground. Sell, barter or exchange things – from little paintings to candles and soap, from home cooked meals to home baked goodness, from your mums pickles to coins that you’re collecting since you were a kid, to old furniture, baby clothing or any knickknacks as you make place for the new – you’ll be surprised to see your neighbourhood is a bigger marketplace than you imagined. And if you’re just setting up a new business, what better place to start from than your neighbourhood.

Find people around you following the same topics and organize meet ups online or in person. From common interests like playing an instrument to cooking a cuisine to even animals around your neighbourhood, cryptocurrency, movies, art, baking, eco-consciousness, veganism, tech, poker, cricket, football, basketball – find fellow cooopers around you and kickstart a friendship you wished you had started years ago.

As we’ve seen with the pandemic of our lifetimes, emergencies sometimes require large scale resources deployed to help each other out. You can form common communities in the neighbourhood so that you have a larger resource pool to draw from as well as to run on the ground. Organised neighbourhood community work ensured a lot of villages in India managed to keep the pandemic at bay. We could adopt the same models for our neighbourhoods.
